The love affair between Gerald and Charlene Gallego resulted in a trail of merciless rapes and murders across 3 states from 1978 -1980. The deadly combination of these two serial killers led to the deaths of 10 people, mostly teenagers, whom they used as sex slaves before killing them. Born of respectable parents, Charlene descended in to promiscuity and drugs during her teenage years. In contrast, Gerald was abused from a young age and left starved of love. After a whirlwind affair, they began to feed their depravity. Ironically, Charlene testified against her husband for a lower sentence and gained release 16 years later. Gerald was placed on death row and later died in prison.
